1. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi’s helicopter made an emergency landing on May 19 (local time), and rescue teams were dispatched, according to reports from local Iranian media. The president was on his way in the helicopter after attending a dam inauguration ceremony in East Azerbaijan province. Along with President Raisi, the helicopter carried Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, East Azerbaijan Governor Malik Rahmati, and the Energy Minister. Their fate remains unconfirmed, and the Interior Ministry explained that rescue teams are facing delays due to adverse weather conditions and difficult terrain .
